This range of tables highlight the sculptural qualities of woven leather by using it in a 3-dimensional manner. Working with thin strips of leather twisted and sheathed like the handle of a tennis racket, the graphic effect of the weave is transformed. It no longer has a horizontal and vertical rhythm but becomes a play on twists, accentuated by the volume of the weave. This collection of tables takes its reference as much from ancient woodworking techniques, Louis XIII style as it does from the world of sports and even the graphic qualities of traditional boiled sweets.
