Annual clock

Lachesis

Idea

This annual clock is inspired by the myth of Moires, three sisters, allegory of fate. Clotho spun the days and events of life, Lachesis coiled the wire and pulled the fate of each, Atropos cut with scissors the thread of life.
This coil represents a year, every month is signified by a gradient color over its entire length to visualize every day passing. The seasons are emerging thanks to the unwinding of the coil and the colors reveal themselves.
