Ceramic objects worked in drapery on utility parts and therefore, reinterpret the original function of the camouflage pattern.

Created in co-creation with the ceramist Aurélie Dorard within the framework of the Peri’Fabrique project, a co-creation program set up in 2012 by D’Days, Festival of Design in Paris, with the support of the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation and Est ensemble Grand Paris. An adventure also shared this year 2017 with Les Ateliers de Paris.

Renovating the dynamics of the « faubourgs », Péri’Fabrique finances each year the creation of unique pieces by an artisan and a designer. It is the experimentation that is allowed here by this bourse which for a time keeps away the need for a remunerative economic activity. A special approach has been chosen: the artisan chooses the designer, the usual chain is reversed and no drawing precedes the encounter. The artisan chooses among several proposals of designers, often far from his know-how. This movement reinforces experimentation and creates the ideal conditions for innovation.
